Top Rank Internet Marketing started in business as a small web design service in San Francisco, CA back in 1997.  Owner and British import David Saunders also ran a small, classy wedding DJ business.

David was constantly getting bookings from his website which enjoyed top rankings on the big name search engines of the day.

Curious as to why he was getting top rankings David delved further and met many like minded individuals on alt message boards scattered around the world wide web - SEO was a cottage industry that piqued David's interest. 

David was quickly hooked and started his SEO business - which today is still called Top Rank Internet Marketing.  David visualized at an early stage that much more was going to happen in this new web driven world and saw big start ups come and go with many innovations appearing daily - probably the Blog being the most powerful medium for marketing a business.

David grew in popularity around the Bay Area and managed many early SEO campaigns - always discovering new ways to make websites rank higher.

David was an early adopter of GoTo the first pay per click website which was introduced to us by well known internet innovator Bill Gross.

Go To was amazing and was later bought by Inktomi and then Yahoo! via it's other name Overture - The original pay per click model is Yahoo! Search marketing.

Along came Google and the world changed!  David adopts almost everything that Google puts in beta and is currently beta testing Grand Central www.grandcentral.com

David moved to the Charlotte, North Carolina area - Huntersville, Lake Norman to be precise.

David initially sub contracted himself to Pro Step Marketing of Huntersville, NC (a Real Estate Agent marketing company) and was shortly offered a salaried position - after awhile David resigned for personal reasons and continued building his own SEO and Internet marketing business.

David has recently launched his Real Estate SEO division and has been chosen by Davis Farrell as their preferred SEO www.davisfarrell.com
